What is Dynamic Currency Conversion?

Also known as "cardholder preferred currency," this is a service that lets cardholders traveling abroad make credit card purchases using their home currency. The point is to allow the cardholder to understand how much they are actually paying for something; however, the service may come with a fee, and the exchange rate used to convert the purchase to the home currency may not be favorable. What's more, depending on the credit card, there may also be foreign transaction fees assessed as well.
